nba night 5
C's over the Wiz, Pacers over Kings, Nets over Raptors, Heat beat the Nuggets, Bulls beat the hornets, PDx over the Rocketship, Bucks over the Cavs, Mavs over the Bcas,Spurs over the Jazz and Clips over GS
Heat were down with 14 secs left but pull out the W thanks to a rayray 4 pt play. C's beat the wiz, Nets beat the Raptors, Pacers beat the Kings. Portland beat the Rockets, Hornets beat the Bulls. SA won, Dallas won, Bucks won. GS beat the clip. I go 8-2 on the night. 11-14 coming in, 19 and 16 overall now.

nba night 3
San Antonio won on a buzzer beater. OKC went 1-3 against Spurs last year. Martin looked good, was very efficient and hit a huge 3. 8-5 for me.

"Tonight, I will take Pacers over Raptors, Nuggets over 6ers, Rockets over Pistons (as much as I am looking fwd to seeing Lin crash and burn, I cant name a single D player off the top off my head), Bulls over Kings, Spurs over Hornets, Dallas over Utah, G State over Phoenix, Clippers over Grizz, and Lakers bounce back to beat Portland."
So....Pacers beat Toronto, Philly beat Denver, Rockets won (Harden had a monster game), Bulls won, SA won, Utah beat Dallas (easily), Gs, Portland, and the Clips all won making me 6-3 on the night, 8 and 4 on the season so far.
Tonight we have the Thunder against the Spurs, (Nets knicks was on the schedule but is postponed due to Sandy cleanup). I'm going to take the Thunder. Spurs looked good in their opener, but I'm gonna avoid old guys in back to backs judging from Dallas and LA last night.
Harden's game made all the headlines last night. Still don't think it was a bad decision by OKC to let him go, but if they fall to the Spurs tonight after he puts up numbers like that, people will talk,

Miami over Boston, Cleveland over Washington, Lakers over Mavs (picked Tues 1 PM)
Well, got 2 of 3 right. Miami fended off Beantown, Cavs took care of Wiz and Dallas beat the new look Lake show, who will take a while to figure out how to ignore Coach Brown.

bad decisions
This:
Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, joined by the court’s conservative wing, wrote that courts are in no position to second-guess the judgments of correctional officials who must consider not only the possibility of smuggled weapons and drugs, but also public health and information about gang affiliations.
makes me feel crazy. So, anyone in a position of power/authority can abuse that and the SUPREME frickin court is "in no position to second guess?"
I will, from here on out, refer to SCOTUS as SCROTUM
